BEHIND THE SCREENS
Since birth, Dillon has been captivated by the automotive and motorsports industry. Perhaps being born into a diehard Mopar family had something to do with it. From the time he could grip a pencil, he filled sketchbook pages with drawings of the stock cars of every era. His passion for motorsport artistry never faded as the years progressed. The first taste of digital design came from the paint booth of NASCAR Racing 2003 Season on PC. It was a flavor that kept him craving more as the hours ticked by and his creations came to life on the virtual track.
In 2009, Dillon enrolled at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri in pursuit of a Fine Arts & Visual Communications degree. Four years later, it was time to get down to business. Throughout his 20s, Dillon climbed the ladder of professional design across the country, eventually landing in Race City USA.
Now at 33, a happily married father of one, and based in Mooresville, NC, Dillon launched Lowline Livery Design to turn his career and life-long passion into a reality. As a meticulous designer, dedicated to the details, he sports a passion for perfection. As his youth golf coach once told him, “If you’re going to play bad, look good doin’ it.” The same can be said for the race track. Whether it’s slow or go-go-go, “Look fast doin’ it!"
